Renata Santos was born in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) but currently resides in the south of the island of Tenerife. Music has always been very present in her life, since childhood. She started singing professionally at the age of 17 in Brazil with different bands of various musical styles. In 2001, she moved to the Canary Islands in Spain where she settled and continued to work professionally with music, travelling throughout the archipelago, mainland Spain and Portugal. Since then, she has never stopped working until 2018 when she decided to record her own songs. Currently, and after a break, Renata has returned with new forces working on the release of her first album: «This Is the Time», in which she has developed as a composer for the first time, a capacity she had never put into practice before. Her songs talk about love and hope that she herself has found in God, and the purpose is that others can know this love. For her, music is «a tool to develop her purpose in life».
