Genesis de Jesus, of Dominican descent, was born and raised in Madrid.
He started singing at a young age, as music has always been very present in his home and several family members were musicians. He grew up and had his first performances in the evangelical church.
At around 19 years old, he joined the Madrid Gospel Choir, where he immersed himself even more in the genre and explored other styles such as R&B and Neo Soul, which have influenced and defined him as a singer.
In 2022, he participated in the TV show ‘La Voz’, where he had the opportunity to share the stage with renowned artists and came in 2nd place in the final. Nowadays, he performs in various events and shows, as well as being the vocalist of AfroJam Madrid, one of the city’s most well-known jam sessions.
